Starting with a blank canvas, this suburban home’s backyard was transformed into a private retreat.
A blank canvas…
When these clients first got in touch with the Jansen Group, their backyard was essentially a blank slate — nothing but grass with little usable space. They wanted to extend their home outdoors and have a functional space outside where they could host their loved ones.
Beauty & utility in one.
The homeowners are avid gardeners and liked the idea of having a greenhouse on the property for propagation and potting. The back shed acts as a sitting area for morning coffees, a greenhouse and features a utility shed in the back.
From empty to expansive…
Today, this yard has transformed into a true retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. An expansive patio with two lounging areas, a natural gas firepit, gardens all around and pathways connecting them all — it’s a joy to behold.
